What if I told you that you don't need subscribers to get more views on YouTube?
If you check this video on my channel, you'll see it has over 22,000 views. Now ask yourself, do I have 22,000 subscribers? No.
So where are all these views coming from?
The truth is, in 2026, you don't need a large subscriber count to get views on YouTube. You simply need the right strategy. In this article, I'll show you one of the newest tools inside YouTube Studio that can help you find video ideas your audience already wants to watch.
Open the New "Ask Studio" Tool
Go to your YouTube Studio.
At the top, you'll see a new tool YouTube has released called Ask Studio.
Click on it.
There are five features available, but we're only going to focus on three of them:
Summarize Comments
Suggest New Video Ideas
Summarize Channel Performance
The third one is the feature that really worked for me.
Let's go through them one by one.
1. Summarize Comments
The first feature is Summarize Comments.
This tool scans your comment section and tells you the questions your audience keeps asking. It helps you identify the topics people are most interested in, so you can create videos around them.
For example, I recently made several videos about Rumble. After scanning my comments, the tool showed that many people were asking about verification issues.
That tells me that if I create a detailed video explaining Rumble verification, there's a good chance it will get more views because that's exactly what my audience wants.
It also showed that many people were asking about Rumble payment methods.
Again, that's another video idea I know people are searching for.
Instead of guessing what your audience wants, this tool tells you directly from your own comments.
2. Suggest New Video Ideas
The second feature is Suggest New Video Ideas.
If you've ever struggled to come up with video ideas, this feature can help.
For example, one of the suggestions it gave me was:
Rumble payout solutions for small creators.
That's a complete video idea.
Another suggestion was:
Rumble vs YouTube comparison for small creators in 2026.
These aren't random ideas. They're based on your own audience and your own channel.
Instead of going to different platforms looking for ideas, you can simply use this tool inside YouTube Studio.
3. Summarize Channel Performance
This is my favorite feature.
Click on Summarize Channel Performance.
For example, in the last 28 days, the tool summarized my channel like this:
4,900 watch hours
2,200 subscribers
1.2 million impressions
It doesn't just show your numbers.
It explains how you gained subscribers, how your impressions increased, your click-through rate, audience retention, and even your average view duration.
It also points out areas you need to improve.
For example, the tool told me that the first 30 to 60 seconds of some of my videos weren't performing as well as they could.
That's valuable feedback because improving your hook can significantly increase your watch time.
It even gives insights about your community engagement and your top-performing videos.
The Real Secret to Getting More Views
Many creators believe they need more subscribers before they can get more views.
That's simply not true.
It's not about your subscriber count.
It's about understanding what your audience wants to watch, knowing what's already working on your channel, and creating videos around those topics.
That's exactly what this new YouTube Studio tool helps you do.
Final Thoughts
If you haven't tried the new Ask Studio feature yet, open your YouTube Studio and test these three tools:
Summarize Comments
Suggest New Video Ideas
Summarize Channel Performance
You'll discover what your audience wants, improve your content, and put yourself in a much better position to get more views—even if you don't have many subscribers.
The next time you're wondering why your videos aren't getting views, don't focus on getting more subscribers first. Focus on creating content your audience is already asking for. That's what drives views on YouTube in 2026.
