MONETIZATION

Getting monetized on YouTube can be very difficult because you need to work hard to get your 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours.

But what if I told you there is another platform where you can start earning from your videos without first reaching those YouTube monetization requirements?

I decided to try it myself, and in this article, I'll show you exactly what I did.

What Is Rumble?

The platform is called Rumble.

I started using it not long ago. If you look at my dashboard, you can already see that I've earned some revenue. It may not be a lot, but it shows that the platform is already generating earnings for me.

The interesting part is that I only had five followers when I started seeing revenue.

When I check my account overview, I can also see that I already have earnings in my account, even though I only uploaded a few videos.

At the moment, I have one public video on my channel, and it has received around 484 views.

Why I Think Rumble Is Worth Trying

The main reason I like Rumble is because many creators struggle with YouTube's monetization requirements.

Getting 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours can take a long time.

Even after reaching those milestones, creators still have to make sure they continue following YouTube's monetization policies.

Rumble is still growing, and the platform currently has a different approach. It allows creators to upload videos and begin earning without first meeting YouTube's subscriber and watch-hour requirements.

It reminds me of how YouTube was in its early days, when the platform had fewer restrictions and simpler monetization rules.

How to Create a Rumble Account

Creating a Rumble account is very simple.

You can watch this tutorial to do so

Go to the Rumble website and click Sign Up.

Enter your:

  • Email address

  • Date of birth

  • Username

  • Gender

  • Country

  • Password

After that, Rumble will send a verification code to your email address.

Enter the code, and your account will be created.

Set Up Your Profile

Once your account is ready, click on your profile and go to Account Settings.

From there, complete your profile by:

  • Uploading a profile picture

  • Writing a channel description

  • Linking your social media accounts (optional)

When everything is ready, click Update to save your changes.

Upload Your First Video

After setting up your profile, go back to the home page and click Upload.

Uploading a video is very similar to YouTube.

You'll need to:

  • Enter your video title

  • Write a description

  • Choose a category

  • Upload a thumbnail (or use an automatic one)

  • Add tags

  • Choose whether the video is Public, Unlisted, or Private

Once everything is complete, accept the terms and conditions and submit your video.

Your video will begin processing and will become available once the upload is complete.

How You Earn Money

According to my experience, once your videos are uploaded, they become eligible to generate earnings on the platform.

The more videos you publish, the greater your opportunity to earn.

When you're ready to withdraw your money, go to the Cash Out section.

At the time I recorded this tutorial, Rumble required:

  • A minimum balance of $50 before you can cash out.

  • At least 100 followers before withdrawing your earnings.

Compared to YouTube's 1,000-subscriber requirement for monetization, reaching 100 followers may feel much easier for many new creators.

Payment Method

To withdraw your earnings, you'll need a PayPal account.

If you don't have one yet, your earnings can continue accumulating in your account until you're ready to withdraw them.

Final Thoughts

If you're looking for another platform where you can upload your videos and potentially earn revenue, Rumble is definitely worth exploring.

It works in a way that's very similar to YouTube, making it easy to upload videos, manage your content, and grow your audience.

If you've been looking for an alternative platform to share your videos and diversify your income as a creator, Rumble is one option you may want to try.
